Job Summary/Basic Function:

Teach courses in the Department of General Math and Science. Teaching assignments include Developmental and General Education Math courses. Credentials to teach Physics is valuable. Candidates with background to teach Calculus and upper-level Math courses are given preference. Responsible for class lectures, grading assignments, and mentoring student research projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s Degree with 18 graduate hours in discipline taught (Mathematics).

Preferred Qualifications:

Doctorate in Mathematics or Statistics, credentials to teach Physics, and college teaching experience.

Work Hours:

40 hours per week
