Western Carolina University seeks a nurse anesthetist to teach part-time in the nurse anesthesia program in the School of Nursing, College of Health and Human Sciences beginning summer semester, 2022. This is a part-time (0.5 FTE) 12 month fixed-term appointment. The ideal candidate will possess both excellent clinical and teaching skills. The School expects the successful candidate will possess outstanding communication skills, evidence of scholarly activity, and ability to teach and develop online and traditional courses, advise students, participate in committees, and other university activities. Requirements: doctorate in nursing or related field. National certification as a CRNA required; licensure or eligibility for RN licensure/CRNA practice in NC; current CPR, PALS and ACLS certification.Preferred Qualifications:
