Rocky Vista University (RVU) is seeking a dynamic educator for the role of Director of Basic Science and Research for their unique Physician Assistant Program, based in Parker, Colorado and the greater Denver metropolitan area. This PA program, which saw its inaugural class graduate in 2020, offers an innovative, competency-based curricular design and learner-centric approach. The incoming Director of Basic Science and Research will oversee the integration of the basic sciences curriculum within the program, direct a foundational, pre-clinical course, and oversee the development of research-related aspects of the program, including promoting and driving scholarly activity.

Qualifications:
- Terminal degree in relevant field (PhD, PharmD, EdD, etc.)
- Teaching experience, with preference for experience in medical education (PA, DO, MD)
- Record of research and/or publications in field of study
- Knowledge of assessment design and pedagogical strategies to enhance learning
- Current licensure or eligibility to practice in Colorado, if a clinician
