Job Details
Provide support for the Horizon 2020 Precision Toxicology consortium project sponsored by the European Union.
JOB DUTIES:70% - Essential - Perform behavioral phenotypic analysis on Drosophila inbred lines under standard culture conditions and after exposure to toxicants. Accurately record data.
30% - Essential - Assist staff scientists, postdoctoral researchers and graduate students as time allows. This will entail maintaining Drosophila stocks, collecting samples for next generation sequencing, and performing phenotypic assays.
Education - High School or Equivalent
Experience in a clinical or research setting.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:Education - Bachelor's Degree - Genetics and/or Molecular Biology
Prior experience with Drosophila
