Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach

Thiel College is seeking applicants for the position of Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach.

The primary responsibility of this position will be to assist the Head Coach in all facets of the women’s soccer program.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assisting with the recruitment of quality student-athletes, practice planning, game preparation, coaching, scouting, player development, administrative duties, monitoring the academic progress of student-athletes, and additional responsibilities as assigned by the Head Coach and/or Director of Athletics.

Candidates must be self-motivated, possess strong communication skills, solid organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills, knowledge of the game, and the ability to identify and attract quality student-athletes to the College.

The successful candidate must adhere to all NCAA, conference, and institutional guidelines, policies, and rules. Demonstrate professional behavior. At all times promote the women’s soccer program and Thiel College in a positive way to the campus community, local community, high school coaches, and recruits.

Applicants are required to have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent. Prior coaching and/or collegiate playing experience preferred.

This 12-month position includes housing, meals, and health benefits, as well as professional development opportunities.
