STANDARD HOURS: 37.5 Hours per week; Typical hours Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.; Flexibility required to include other evening and/or weekend hours, as necessary.
PAY RANGE: $25.31 - $30.93 per hour
*Salaries/Wages for all finalists (internal and external) will be based upon education, experiences, current wages, and internal equity.

POSITION SUMMARYResponsible for scheduling, administering, proctoring and processing instructor assessments, GED/HSED, English Language Learner and Admissions testing. Works in collaboration with other Student Services staff with regards to events and connections to services such as Academic Coaching, Disability Services, and community partners. Utilizes various software systems and databases to record, report and update information.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSReasonable Accommodations Statement

Essential Functions Statement(s)- Perform all processes involved in administering and proctoring tests for a variety of online and paper/pencil tests in a secure test environment for GED/HSED, English Language Learners, admissions, make-up tests, employment testing, etc. Monitor inventory and order testing supplies, maintain statistics, etc. Troubleshoot system problems.
- Serve as Chief Examiner for the GED testing program. Assist in the selection, training, scheduling of part-time examiners. Communicate with the Department of Public Instruction to assure the GED program complies with state requirements.
- Act as a liaison between students and Disability Services to provide test accommodations, interpret IEPs, consult with students regarding what accommodations may be allowed based upon IEP, etc.
- Coordinate with Academic Skills Lab instructors on campus and at the jail to process paperwork, provide GED testing, and other assessments and arrange accommodations.
- Create linkages and relationships with individual students on a regular basis to facilitate connections as needed to services, support and processes that will positively impact Student Success.
- Create schedules and data entry for Test Center, and GED/HSED, and Client Reporting for State reporting system, etc.
- Serve as the primary contact for incoming GED/HSED and English Language Learner prospects including conducting incoming assessments and facilitating jumpstart and orientation sessions for each group.
- Assist with various campus events especially graduation and serve as a part of the Student Coalition team.

SKILLS & ABILITIES Education: Minimum of Bachelor's Degree.
Experience: Minimum of three years of experience in teaching, training, counseling or testing to meet certification requirements of the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction and the GED Testing Service.

Computer Skills Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to maintain electronic records in database management system. Other Requirements Knowledge of proper test administration procedures and various methods of administering assessments and tests, including computer assisted testing. Must hold a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the District’s standard insurance policy terms.
