The Renée Crown Wellness Institute is seeking a full-time, Professional Research Assistant to join an active research group that is dedicated to improving the mental health and well-being of people during pregnancy and postpartum. The person in this position will be a key member, overseeing multiple research and programmatic functions, working with substantial independence. The Professional Research Assistant will work primarily on the Alma Program and will be supervised and mentored by Drs. Laurel Hicks, PhD, Samuel Hubley, PhD, and Sona Dimidjian, PhD.

Alma is a rapidly growing program, developed by a collaborative team of researchers, community members, clinicians, and mothers who have personal experience with depression, to support women experiencing depression during pregnancy and the postpartum. Alma employs an innovative approach to perinatal depression in which a team of trained peer mentors—mothers who have faced depression in their own lives and want to support others who are struggling—deliver the Alma program to members of their own community.
