Job Description

The UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI-ST. LOUIS Department of Finance & Legal Studies invites applications for a non-tenure track position at the Associate or Assistant Teaching Professor of Finance level, beginning August 2022. With nearly 16,000 students, the University is the largest public research university in eastern Missouri. It serves a diverse student body whose influence on the region upon graduation is immense.


The AACSB-accredited College of Business Administration offers both undergraduate and graduate degrees in various business disciplines. Within the College, the Department of Finance and Legal Studies offers emphasis areas in finance in the undergraduate and graduate programs. We also have an MS in Fintech proposal waiting for approval.


Essential tasks that must be performed include teaching graduate and undergraduate fintech and financial management courses. Also, the candidate will provide service to the department, the College, the University, the finance profession, and the wider community.


Ideal candidates will have a Ph.D. from an AACSB-accredited university before the start date. We seek candidates who will enthusiastically approach teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels. Salary and benefits are competitive.

Qualifications

Ph.D. Finance
Applicant must have 7 years of teaching experience
