Job Summary The Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia (USG) Human Resources office is seeking a Well-being Program Manager to drive strategy and marketing of system-wide wellness programs and initiatives. This position provides research and development for USG system-wide well-being programs. This role will implement a variety of programs that will promote and encourage healthy lifestyle choices, to reach the USG goal of attaining a healthier employee population. Additionally, this role will coordinate with USG institutions on marketing, communication and education for the system-wide well-being strategy.

Responsibilities
    Develop, implement and evaluate annual program plan for USG Well-beingDesign, implement and manage policies and procedures relating to USG Well-being programs and initiativesEffectively market and communicate well-being programs for USG institutions system-wide in an effort to engage employees and increase participationPartner with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement in the health of the USG populationPlan strategies to maintain and elevate the Well-being liaison networkSupport Well-being champion networks at campus locationsPartner with Well-being liaisons at each campus to gather benchmark data to support institution well-being initiatives and projectsEnsure quality and effectiveness of well-being and care management programs by tracking effectiveness, participation and outcomes, recommend opportunities for continual improvementCoordinate with the Student Health Insurance provide to administer and communicate about the planDevelop content and maintain Well-being websiteManage well-being vendor relationships
Required Qualifications
    Bachelor’s degree in a related field required or equivalent experience and training in public health or health education At least three years’ experience in wellness program management in a large employer setting
Preferred Qualifications
    Master’s degree in a related field required or equivalent experience and training in public health or health educationHigher education experienceExperience with wellness program management in a diverse, multi-site organizationStrong communication and marketing experienceStrong organization, problem solving and analytical skillsLarge Event Planning experienceCertified Health Education Specialist, Certified Worksite Wellness Specialist, Certified Wellness Practitioner or Disease Management Certification, preferred
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
    Knowledge about current health issues and behavior-change strategiesKnowledge of the health promotion and wellness industryAbility to manage multiple well-being campaign and initiativesAbility to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of federal and state laws relating to well-being programsDemonstrated success in planning, implementing and evaluating well-being programsExcellent communication, writing and presentation skills with the ability to communicate across a variety of communication platformsExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate across a variety of constituenciesA genuine commitment to encourage and motivate others to maintain well-being, demonstrated through personal example
