Job Description :

The Allied Health Coordinator plans and implements all aspects of workforce training (non-credit) allied health certification programs and continuing education. This includes course planning and setup, marketing, student correspondence, and placement for clinical experience at local healthcare institutions. Programs offered at HCC include Medical Assisting, Nurse Assisting, EKG Technician, Phlebotomy Technician and corporate and continuing education offerings. The coordinator works to ensure that all aspects of the courses offered are coordinated and implemented to guarantee student success.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prefer applicants with:
(1) event/course planning experience,
(2) experience working with and scheduling clinical sites for students,
(3) experience with curriculum review and development in the area of Allied Health,
(4) prior experience in workforce/healthcare education,
(5) strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail,
(6) experience working in a business to business environment with local companies in Hillsborough County,
(7) experience using MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint, and Canvas LMS
(8) fluently bilingual in English and Spanish (not required).

Supplemental Job Information:

This position will be filled as a full-time temporary with no planned assignment end date. This position may require occasional evening and/or weekend hours.

This position requires at least an awarded Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited educational institution.
