The School of Medicine, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation has an opening for a part-time (0.6 FTE) University Staff (unclassified) Business Services Entry Professional position.

Position Emphasis:

The business services professional manages prospective student data from recruitment to matriculation and provides efficient communications between prospective students and the CU PT Program. Communication involves program advisement by answering inquiries about the program, outstanding courses, and prerequisites. Systems for surveys, data entry and management of this position are mainly within PTCAS, WebAdMIT, CU-SIS, Qualtrics, and Formstack. This position provides program support with data entry and management for various reports, including but not limited to, integrating data for student tracking database and annual program reports. The business services professional provides collaborative work with emergency management team to create and manage COOP and emergency preparedness plans to ensure plans reflect current staffing and address contingencies,

The following are job duties and should be handled expeditiously and proactively:

    Provide efficient and effective communications with student applicants through written and verbal communications.Answer inquiries about the program, outstanding courses, and prerequisites. Update application data in WebAdMIT portal, including admissions status throughout the admissions process. Complete phase 1 of the academic review for the admissions process. Confirm prerequisites are met by applicants.Enter custom questions in physical therapy common application system (PTCAS).Participate in holistic assessment of prospective student applications. Manage the interview process, including create and manage multiple interview schedules of interviewers and student interviewees, enter and maintain interview assignments in WebAdmit. Coordinate and communicate schedules with interviewers/interviewees. Categorize applicants from PTCAS data based on custom responses to program preference questions that are based on multiple categories and designations. Manage applicant data within CU-SIS. Develop spreadsheets with detailed applicant data for determination of applicant interview and admissions decisions.Develop and implement administrative processes that foster efficient and effective service delivery. Maintain data base of pre-health advisors from CO programs and other top feeder schools for CU DPT.Assist in coordination and logistics of CU PT recruitment events.Provide operational support to a broad range of contacts with complex calendar management coordination. Create and manage surveys in Qualtrics and Formstack. Enter and manage program data for various reports, including but not limited to, student tracking database and annual program reports. Collaborate closely with teams to ensure timelines, deliverables, and resources are properly communicated.Work closely with faculty and staff to support and further the university’s strategic priorities and initiatives. Collaborate on workflow and process improvement projects. Proactively update teams to ensure smooth and efficient workflow of projects. Work collaboratively with emergency management team to create and manage COOP and emergency preparedness plans to ensure plans reflect current staffing and address contingencies, including pandemic planning and flexplace agreements. Serve on internal and external ad hoc and standing committees, as needed. Cross-cover for other administrative staff. Provide other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: 

    A bachelor’s degree business administration, education, healthcare administration, public administration, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

Substitution: A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications:

    Experience working in higher education.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).Experience with online application systems.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established at $29,743.20 to $37,833.60 (0.6 FTE).  

The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

This position is eligible for overtime compensation.
