Job Summary The Department of English within the School of Arts and Letters at Middle Georgia State University is seeking candidates for a Lecturer of English. This is a non-tenure-track teaching position that involves teaching and service. The primary location for this position is on the Dublin campus. Responsibilities This position involves teaching a 5/5 course load of first-year English, including developmental Learning Support English. Travel among our campuses (Cochran, Dublin, Macon, and Warner Robins) will be required as needed. Teaching responsibilities may include day and/or evening classes, online, and/or hybrid classes.Required Qualifications- M.A. in English (composition or literature focus)
- Teaching experience, particularly in composition and developmental English.Experience with online and/or hybrid delivery of instruction.
