Job Summary: The Museum Education Assistant is responsible for helping with the day-to-day operations and educational programs at the UA Museums.
Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED and a minimum of two years of experience; or Associate's degree and one year of experience; or a Bachelor's degree and some experience.
Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.
Skills and Knowledge: Strong oral and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in public programming in a museum setting. One (1) year of college coursework in a museum-related field.
