Description:

This is a tenure track position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. The candidate in this position is expected to work in the areas of health systems strengthening, sustainable development, maternal and child health, and/or family planning in low- and middle-income countries. Expertise and experience in both qualitative and quantitative research methods is required. French language proficiency is preferred. The candidate will develop a research agenda that focuses on community-based programs, resiliency, barriers to service delivery, supply logistics and/or health information systems strengthening in collaboration with Tulane faculty. The candidate is also expected to teach at least two graduate-level public health courses.


Qualifications:

PhD in Public Health, Demography, Sociology, Economics, Geography, or Public Policy

Demonstrated track record of publishing in peer-reviewed journals

Demonstrated track record in attracting sponsored research funding

Experience working in Low- and Middle-Income Countries
