Requirements

Associate Director, Law Annual Fund - Office of Advancement - Georgetown University

The Associate Director works as part of a team to increase donor participation levels and leadership gifts in support of law annual giving. The individual will be the team leader for workplace giving, primarily the Law Firm Challenge, matching gifts, and firm-led fundraising. Additionally, the incumbent will provide market analysis to help guide strategy for other Law Annual Fund programs related to firm and industry philanthropy, and the alumni who work in those spheres.

The Associate Director will manage all aspects of the Law Firm Challenge, including volunteer management, and will work from a comprehensive solicitation plan including volunteer solicitation, direct and email marketing, and contact through various social media outlets, as appropriate. This position will also be responsible for personal solicitations of leadership-level gifts, matching gifts, and sponsorships within certain segments.

The Associate Director works closely with the Director of the Law Annual Fund, the Georgetown Law Center Development and Alumni Relations staff, as well as the Main Campus Office of Advancement.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5 to 7 years in fundraising, direct marketing, communications, and volunteer management; or commensurate skills and experience
  • Proficiency with fundraising software applications
