The Director of the Lincoln LGBTQ+ Resource Center provides leadership and administrative oversight for LGBTQ+ student programs and services within the intersectional context of a Jesuit, Catholic, humanistic institution. The Director leads the Lincoln LGBTQ+ Resource Center in fulfilling its dual purpose: (1) to provide an affirming space and support system for LGBTQ+ students and (2) to outreach and educate all students in their allyship, connection to social justice, and social identity development specific to gender identity, gender expression, and sexual orientation. This position supports collaborative student success strategies for an increasingly more diverse generation of Gonzaga students whose needs are constantly evolving. The Director is tasked with setting the strategic direction for the department, programmatic development, budget allocations, and campus/community outreach. As a member of the Student Affairs leadership team, the Director will develop and strengthen partnerships within and across divisions, and work collaboratively with students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community partners. The Director will also maintain a strong working relationship with the namesake donor and other benefactors. This position supervises the Program Manager for LGBTQ+ Education and Support and reports to the Dean for Social Justice Leadership and Community Empowerment.
