St. Lawrence University seeks to fill a Research and Instruction Librarian position. The Research and Instruction Librarian is responsible for providing research help, instruction, and programming that enhances the student academic experience:
Primary Responsibilities
- Coordinating research instruction in the First Year Program Providing research assistance to students through individual and group consultations and training Presenting course-integrated library research instruction in collaboration with faculty Planning and implementing library engagement, marketing, and outreach activities
Minimum Qualifications
- MLS/MLIS from an ALA-accredited university Two years of experience at an academic library Experience in reference and instruction Commitment to and enthusiasm for liberal arts education and outstanding service to the academic community
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in engagement, marketing, outreach, and/or digital scholarship preferred
