We especially encourage women, people of color, members of the LGBTQ+ community, veterans and people with disabilities to apply.Description:Reporting to the Dean of Graduate Admission and Dean of the Hofstra College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, the Assistant Dean of Graduate Recruitment will support the School of Education.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
•Recruits and manages the application process for all graduate education students from the time they are prospective students through enrollment for their first semester.
•Works with Department Chairs and Program Directors for timely admission decisions.
•Attends and assists at Information Sessions, Graduate Open Houses, New Student Orientation, and other admission related events.
•Other related duties as assigned.

Evening and weekend hours may be required in support of special projects and events.

Candidates must be willing and able to organize and handle all aspects of administration and adhere to the rules and regulations of Hofstra University, the Colonial Athletic Conference, and the NCAA.Qualifications:•Bachelor’s degree required.
•Valid driver’s license and travel required.
•Strong skills in strategic planning and data analysis.
•Excellent communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
•Must be able to work effectively and cooperatively with other areas within the University, particularly with members of the Dean’s Office, Department Chairs, and Program Directors.
•Excellent organizational, administrative, and customer service skills.
•Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multitask in a fluid, fast-paced environment.
•Excellent computer skills and high proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:
•Master’s degree preferred.
