UofSC SOM Greenville CampusThe University of South Carolina (UofSC) College of Pharmacy is currently seeking motivated candidate for a full-time, 12-month faculty member to serve as the Director of Pharmacy Education at the UofSC School of Medicine-Greenville. This is a professional track position at the rank of Clinical Assistant, Clinical Associate or Clinical Professor. The responsibilities of the Director of Pharmacy Education include:Required Education and Experience:
· Be the primary contact for UofSC College of Pharmacy students on the School of Medicine-Greenville campus;· Be the conduit of communication between Prisma Health-Upstate, UofSC School of Medicine-Greenville and the College of Pharmacy on all matters related to the didactic and experiential training of pharmacy students;· Advance the Prisma Health-Upstate didactic and experiential Pharmacy Education Program for College of Pharmacy students and promote the program;· Provide opportunities to educate College of Pharmacy students in best pharmacy care practices;· Provide an excellent learning environment for the College of Pharmacy’s students;· Cultivate a mutually beneficial working relationship between the Prisma Health-Upstate, the UofSC College of Pharmacy, and the UofSC School of Medicine-Greenville;· Support an interprofessional model for health science education on the Greenville campus;· Teach at least one live elective Doctor of Pharmacy course per year on the Greenville campus;· Serve as primary instructor for laboratory courses on the Greenville campus and campus coordinator for all courses originating from Columbia; and· Provide experiential learning opportunities for students.. Didactic and clinical teaching of Doctor of Pharmacy students and School of Medicine students as needed, scholarly activity, as well as university and college service.
. Opportunities for provision of pharmacy care to patients and experiential learning related to the incumbent’s area of clinical expertise may be available.

The successful candidate will possess a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution.Preferred Qualifications:
At least five years of relevant work experience post PharmD.
