The Program Manager for the Section of Preventive Medicine & Epidemiology will work with leadership to support daily operations and work flow for faculty, research staff, and trainees as well as management of two federally funded training programs, which provide support to postdoctoral trainees and internal medicine residents. Position requires interpersonal skills to work with faculty, staff and trainees as well as with central offices and departments within the Department of Medicine and Boston University. Individual must have excellent time management skills to be able to manage the completion of both recurring and special projects and meet all internal and external deadlines. The Program Manager will be responsible for managing project finances as well as institutional resources in order to ensure expenditures align with budgets and awards. Individual must be familiar with Microsoft Office products. Familiarity and/or experience with federal award management and resources and tools including xTrain and eRA Commons is preferred. Ability to engage in strategic planning related to training programs is needed in order to contribute to program development growth.
Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of experience.
