Position Information: Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide academic support services to pre-nursing, undergraduate nursing, and graduate nursing students
  • Provide the following tutorial assistance: develop study plans, connect students to resources, and assist with NCLEX preparation
  • Present at career fairs and conferences
  • Provide on-campus tours and answer inquiries from prospective students and families
  • Collaborate with tribal communities for recruitment and assist with recruitment materials
  • Collaborate with RAIN team members for federal grant reports
  • Participate in student meetings and activities
  • Assist with public relations and cultural awareness sessions
  • Answer phone calls and other office duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
  • BSN and RN licensure
  • 5+ years working knowledge of American Indian culture
  • 5+ years experience working as a student mentor
  • 5+ years experience with UND processes and procedures
  • Familiar with UND College of Nursing program requirements
  • Possess a valid driver's license
  • Successful completion of criminal history records check

In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.

Minimum Hiring Salary/Position Classification

$30 per hour; temporary; not benefited

Work Schedule

10 hours per week; schedule will vary
