Job Details
College of Eastern Idaho is seeking a detail-oriented, thorough, and organized AV Technician to join our growing team. The technician will play a key role providing support for all areas of AV. An ideal candidate will expect to set up, install, operate, test and troubleshoot audio and video equipment within the organization. This position will also be helping out the Help Desk team with various tasks.
Typical Job Functions- Experience identifying and resolving computer and system problems including compatibility conflicts, application issues, and hardware malfunctions
- Strong customer-service experience with outstanding interpersonal skills
- In-depth knowledge of audio, video and classroom equipment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good knowledge of Zoom, Microsoft Teams and other video conferencing tools
- Ability to analyze and resolve AV, computer and network problems
- Up-to-date knowledge of systems, information, software, and upgrades

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Employees work indoors and are protected from weather and/or contaminants, but not, necessarily, occasional temperature changes. The employee is regularly required to sit and often uses repetitive hand motions.
