Data Analyst - Information ManagementMarket Range 11

We are looking for a highly motivated data analyst to provide full-time support to the Y-12 National Security Complex Department Overhead and Tech Transfer business organizations through a University of Tennessee subcontract with Consolidated Nuclear Security, LLC

The Data Analyst will work to build predictive models and lead process improvement projects that are focused on complex data collection, analysis, interpretation, and presentation of findings. The Data Analyst will also develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize data efficiency and quality.



Qualifications
Responsibilities will focus on data management and data analytics. Duties will include:

    Produce predictive models derived from multiple data sets and analytical methodsComplete analyses relevant to Indirect Program and Technology Transfer subject matter and communicate analysis technique and conclusions effectively via verbal and written meansSupport annual program planning efforts, and monitor for variances during the execution year; identify potential variance drivers by performing analysis of actual performanceAssist with risk analysis of multi-year plansConsult with clients to understand needs and develop tools to collect or transform data; new data collection methods may include design and deployment of MS Access databases or SharePoint lists as an initial conceptAssist with software quality assurance tasks in support of the company's multi-year planning databasePerform analysis to ensure source data and reported data are valid, and apprise stakeholders of data validity issuesSupport procurement, implementation, and full deployment of intellectual property management softwareGain an understanding of the company's department overhead program, the company's cost model, and the interrelationship between direct-scope and overheadGain an understanding of the Technology Transfer program

REQUIREMENTS:

    Bachelor’s degree in business or data science or related fieldMaster’s degree preferred in MBA or Information Sciences or data science or related field
At least one year of relevant experience (e.g., Data analytics and reporting; data management; Industrial/Systems engineering) or an equivalent combination of training, education, and experience in the field of data analytics/management. Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible to receive a Security Clearance.
