Felician University, a co-educational liberal arts university with main campuses in Lodi and Rutherford, New Jersey, seeks as its next Dean of the School of Business and Information Sciences an experienced administrator who is mission-driven and will build upon the University's academic programs within the school, aligning them with the current needs of higher education's changing landscape and our ever-evolving global economy. The dean will join the University at a pivotal moment in its history and partner with President Crawford, a new Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Michael Markowitz, and a growing senior leadership team, faculty, and staff to further advance the institution's commitment to academic success, personal and professional excellence, and relevant student outcomes.

Felician is one of 24 Franciscan universities in the United Statesand remains the only Catholic, Franciscan, private, independent institution in New Jersey. The University enrolls approximately 2,400 students, 40 percent of whom are first-generation students, representing diverse religious, racial, and ethnic backgrounds. The student-to-faculty ratio is 14:1, with 272 dedicated faculty (80 full-time; 192 part-time). The faculty are non-tenured and for many programs made up of active professionals in the working world.

The School of Business and Information Sciences places a strong emphasis on integrating the corporate world with the academic world, both inside and outside of the classroom. Professional courses emphasize the development of innovative and entrepreneurial leadership skills, management skills, real-world problem solving, teamwork, and ethical decision making. Experiential learning is emphasized throughout the business and computer science curricula.
