Visiting Instructor or Assistant Professor of Biochemistry

Chatham University is seeking applications for a full-time Visiting Instructor or Visiting Assistant Professor of Biochemistry for the 2022-23 academic year.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary responsibilities include teaching biochemistry I & II, an advanced biochemical techniques laboratory course, general chemistry II, and other courses in the candidate's area of expertise that align with departmental teaching needs. Additional responsibilities include participation in university and department events as needed.

Qualifications:

• Completion of a master's degree or above in biochemistry or a closely related field is required.
• Doctorate degree in biochemistry is preferred.
• ABD-PhD candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Preference will be given to those individuals with college teaching experience and practice working with diverse groups is also desirable.
