Position Summary:Governors State University is seeking to hire a Program Director of Employer Partnerships and Business Training as the School of Extended Learning liaison with the business community. This position engages employers in customized incumbent workforce training, develops workforce hiring partnerships, and directs other professional development initiatives, including GSU’s new S.E.E.D.S. employee development program and CEU offerings for continued learning. The Director coordinates with other internal and external stakeholders who interact with the business community including GSU Career Services, Chambers, organizations that help employers administer corporate education benefits, workforce development boards, and more.
Salary Range: $55,000 to $63,250.00.
(This is a non-unionized position. Salary starts at the base and is determined based on Education and Experience exceeding the minimum qualifications).

1. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
2. Minimum of six years related professional experience.
Note: Master’s Degree in an area consistent with the duties of the position may be substituted for one (1) year of work experience.
