Job Description Summary / TWC Summary:Responsibilities include teaching courses in the psychology curriculum (which may include online, evening and or weekend classes); providing clinical supervision to graduate students (if licensed); advising students; maintaining active service and research agendas; seeking/securing external funding to support research endeavors; serving in advisory positions for student organizations; and participating in committee work in the governance of the college and the psychology program.
Essential Duties Summary:- Teaching across the curriculum at the undergraduate and/or the graduate levels
- Providing clinical supervision to graduate students (if licensed)
- Maintaining an active research agenda, including seeking and securing external funding
- Department, university, professional, and community service
- Advising and supporting students
- Performing other job-related duties as assigned

Hiring Range:$49,680.00 - $68,310.00
Education:Earned doctorate in Counseling, Clinical or School Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
Required Licensing/Certification:Licensure as a Psychologist or Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (preferred) or eligible for immediate licensure.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Knowledge of:
- Psychology theory, research, and practice.
- APA and/or NASP Code of Ethics.
- Texas laws related to the practice of psychology.
- Microsoft Office Professional or similar applications.
Skill in:
- Problem-solving and decision-making.
- Multitasking and time management.
- Verbal and written communication.
- Effective customer service.
- Make significant contributions to departmental growth in the areas of curricular development, teaching, scholarly activity, and research funding.
- Demonstrate commitment to undergraduate and graduate education in an academic environment.
- Work with a diverse student and faculty population.
At least three (3) years of college or university teaching experience and must be committed to upholding excellence in teaching, research and service.
The ideal candidate is a Licensed Psychologist or Licensed Specialist in School Psychology with experience providing clinical supervision preferred.

- Handling light weight objects.
- Using or carrying equipment.
