Job Description:

The Stabler Department of Nursing is seeking to hire qualified adjunct clinical faculty with experience in psychiatric mental health to provide clinical instruction in the Baccalaureate degree program.

Adjunct faculty are expected to instruct students in the clinical setting; provide support and guidance; and evaluate performance of learning outcomes. Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication skills and have a strong commitment to working as part of a collaborative team. Adjunct faculty work in collaboration with full-time faculty to provide a safe and supportive learning environment that assists students in the integration of knowledge, inter-professional communication, and development of professional values in the clinical practice setting.

Requirements:

Minimum Requirements:

Qualification requirements per the PA State Board of Nursing include:

• At least one graduate degree in nursing or currently be enrolled in a graduate nursing program,
• Currently licensed as a registered nurse in Pennsylvania, and
• Expertise in their areas of instruction.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Teaching or clinical instruction experience at the undergraduate level.
