Job Summary

Primary role is as a support staff for the Coordinator of Testing. Responsibilities to include scheduling, proctoring, and maintaining appropriate records and reports. Assist in maintaining a low distraction testing environment, confidentiality, efficiency, and effectiveness. Troubleshoot problems with testing companies and faculty as needed. Maintain testing materials and data entry. Adhere to and uphold best practices and standard operating procedures for multiple testing companies and the National College Testing Association. This position is part-time and will work 15 hours.

Review of applications will begin May 23, 2022. The position will remain open until filled.

Minimum hourly rate: $ 12.69 per hour.

Responsibilities Schedule and proctor exams (75%)

    Monitors entry and exit at Testing Center, verify identification and exams to be takenSets up and proctor’s exams for students and community testers, including remote optionsCommunicates with campus community and external testing companiesShows students how to schedule exams and utilize adaptive softwareTroubleshoots issues with testingEnters data for a variety of reportsEnsures exams are returned to faculty and external testing companiesAssists students with applying for standardized and program entrance/exit testing accommodations
Maintenance of equipment and testing environment (25%)

    Assists in maintenance of technology on current equipmentMaintains and provides supply orders as necessary to appropriate personnelEnsures testing environment is optimal for testersOther duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
  • Associates degree or equivalent work experience.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
    Knowledge of college and departmental policies and proceduresKnowledge of professional communication practicesKnowledge of computers and job-related software programsKnowledge of operations and services of a college testing departmentSkill in the analysis of problems and the development and implementation of solutionsSkill in oral and written communication
