Requires technical knowledge in the field acquired through an apprenticeship, a 2-year degree, or professional certificate. Please contact your Human Resources office for an evaluation of education/experience in lieu of the required minimum qualifications.

Prior experience on a research team and participating in research projects, deliverables, and timelines is preferred. Demonstrated training, professional development, and/or coursework in social science research methods, data analysis, and data visualization is strongly preferred.

Project/technical assistance/client management including: client meetings, development of data collection instruments and data collection strategies, focus groups and interviewing, data analysis, and communication of results/findings/conclusions via report-writing and professional presentations.

Provides technical assistance and programmatic support for survey research and evaluation projects.

Performs data collection and data analysis using appropriate data management and statistical procedures. Assists with interviews and focus groups on matters related to proposal development, cost estimation, and data collection.

Assists with drafting research and technical assistance reports. Collaborates on presenting research and technical assistance reports, highlighting data trends, findings, and results for client and professional meetings.

Meets and interacts with clients in developing projects and research design, reviewing data analysis, and presenting findings. Executes and/or assists with project timelines and deliverables to ensure contract compliance.

Manages data analyst, student, temporary, and other support staff involved in survey and evaluation projects.
