Job Details
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
•Designs, implements, schedules, and conducts year-round strength and conditioning programs for select sports based on experience.
•Assists with the daily operation of the strength facilities.
•Maintains the database of assigned student-athletes.
•Assists with the testing of student-athletes.
•Other related duties as assigned.
Candidates must be willing and able to organize and handle all aspects of administration and adhere to the rules and regulations of Hofstra University, the Colonial Athletic Association, and the NCAA.
Qualifications:•Bachelor’s degree required.
•CSCS certification with the NSCA or SCCC certification with the CSCCa.
•First Aid / CPR / AED certification by an accredited service provider.
•Minimum two years of full-time, Division I collegiate coaching experience or as a graduate assistant or experience working with a Division I basketball program for a minimum of one basketball season.
•Strong communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Master’s Degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, or a related field.
•Additional certification: RSCC / RSCC*D / RSCC*E with the NSCA, MSCC with the CSCCa, and USAW Level I.Application Instructions:For consideration, please email a cover letter with salary requirement, resume and three references to:
