The position will involve planning, teaching, and evaluating classes in our integrated English Language curriculum, which includes an intensive Academic English program and English for Academic Purposes. Teaching assignments may include one or more of the following:

Academic English Intensive (reading, writing, grammar, listening, speaking)
English for Academic Purposes on undergraduate and graduate levels
Additional elective courses may be available

Job Responsibilities:

-Demonstrate effectiveness working with populations having diverse values, and/or coming from varied cultures and backgrounds.
-Teach English language learners who have different proficiency levels (novice, intermediate and advanced).
-Keep accurate records of student performance.
-Be available to students outside of classroom when teaching.
-Maintain communications with students, administrators, faculty, and other staff.
