Starting salary: $57,444

The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. The starting salary range represents the College’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Job Summary:

Coordinate and execute the College’s digital advertising and content generation programs and support with audience engagement and analysis of advertising programs.

Essential Functions:

Develop content (copy and video) to enhance/promote marketing programs and engage audiences via digital and social advertising platforms. Develop content strategy and execution; be a skilled video story teller that conveys the College’s key messages and goals on TikTok, YouTube and other digital platforms; research and identify new digital trends or opportunities; and understand DMACC’s various audiences and how to effectively engage and impact them.Coordinate and execute DMACC’s digital and social advertising program. This includes placement on current digital advertising platforms such Facebook, TikTok and YouTube, along with keeping current on new/upcoming platforms, apps, etc. Develop campaign demographics, coordinate creative sets, run/ analyze reports, and modify ads to maximize results. Work the college clients to offer advice and assistance with digital campaigns. Coordinate campaigns with digital vendors to ensure consistency of campaigns and programs.Coordinate and execute DMACC’s E-mail marketing program to engage prospective/current students, and other audiences served by DMACC.Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in marketing/advertising, video production, journalism or related field and one year of experience in advertising agency or commercial/institutional marketing position
OR Associate degree in marketing/advertising, video production, journalism or related field and three years of experience in advertising agency or commercial/institutional marketing position
OR 30 credits plus four years of experience in advertising agency or commercial/institutional marketing position.Experience managing digital advertising or a content creation program on behalf of an organization.
Experience working with E-mail marketing platforms (Constant Contact, Mail Chimp, Salesforce Marketing Cloud).Understanding and engaging digital advertising platforms, trends and best practices.
Demonstrated proficiency in digital advertising or writing/editorial skills for electronic media.
Video production skills.
Copywriting and editorial skills.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to plan, organize and manage time.
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a professional working relationship with a wide variety of individuals coming from diverse backgrounds.Knowledge of current software applications.

Desired Qualifications:

Photography skills.
Advertising agency experience.
Experience with digital media buying.
Experience with data/list management associated with E-mail marketing platforms, including but not limited to segmentation, data cleansing and email validation, and evaluation of campaign. Demonstrated experience engaging diverse audiences.
