Position Summary:

The Department of Management and Marketing in Arkansas State University’s Neil Griffin College of Business invites applications for a non-tenure track position at the Assistant Professor level beginning Spring 2023. Experience teaching courses in supply chain management is required. Experience teaching courses in marketing is highly valued.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Primary responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in supply chain management and/or marketing in both face-to-face and online modalities. Teaching load for non-tenure track faculty is normally fifteen hours per semester. Secondary responsibilities include providing service to the department, college, and university as well as conducting applied business research for publication in quality peer-reviewed journals. Other duties as assigned.

General Days/Hours:

Flexible depending on teaching schedule. In-person or virtual attendance and/or participation in meetings for the department, college, and university are required. In-person or virtual attendance for office hours with students is required.

The AACSB-accredited Neil Griffin College of Business has a solid regional reputation for the quality of its undergraduate and graduate programs. Minimum Qualifications:

An earned Ph.D. or DBA with a concentration in Supply Chain Management or Marketing from an AACSB-accredited institution is strongly preferred. ABDs will be considered. Ph.D.’s in non-business fields (e.g., computer science or engineering management) with experience teaching relevant business courses will be considered.

The Arkansas State University System is governed by a seven-member Board of Trustees appointed by the Governor of Arkansas to serve staggered seven-year terms. The trustees hire the system president, approve the curriculum, annually approve an operating budget, and establish policies for the efficient and effective operation of the institutions.
