Job Information Job ID: 243230Position # 20009875The Department of Psychiatry and Health Behavior at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University is seeking candidates for the position of Assistant Professor (M.D., D.O., M.B.B.S.). We will be able to support candidates that need a J1 visa waiver, H1B, O1A or HHS visa. The position will include clinical and educational duties, with the possibility of some support for clinical research.

Responsibilities This position with the Department of Psychiatry and Health Behavior at the Medical College of Georgia, Augusta University, involves care of adults at The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, East Central Regional Hospital, Augusta campus. This campus is located on 310 acres and operates a 260 licensed, accredited inpatient bed unit in three major program areas: Adult Mental Health, Forensic Services, and Developmental Disabilities. Duties would include providing direct services with or without learners present. Minimum Requirements Educational Requirements

The final candidate will be required to provide proof of completed academic degree(s) as well as post-secondary coursework in the form of original transcript(s). Those candidates trained by a foreign institution will also be required to provide an educational/credential evaluation.The primary work location for this position is within the Augusta University Medical Center or other Augusta University Health System Clinic Space and is subject to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services guidelines.
