Job Description:

ECU Department of Chemistry is currently seeking Undergraduate Laboratory Assistants for the preparation of materials used in Chem 1151 and Chem 1161 teaching labs and the organic labs for the summer 2022.

Lab Assistants are responsible for the preparation of reagents and for maintaining and cleaning the three teaching laboratories. Successful candidates must be able to follow safety rules and protocols, work independently, be detail-oriented, have availability during the day in at least two hour blocks, and can work at least 10 hours a week around their class schedule.

Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.):

Students should have successfully completed Chem 1151 and Chem 1161 or have some lab experience.
