Position Summary:

The Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University seeks scholars who are committed to supporting the learning needs of students from diverse backgrounds and to engaging communities underrepresented in higher education. The lnterprofessional Education (IPE) Faculty will cultivate, develop, and implement IPE programming between the College of Medicine and other Health Professions Colleges at Florida Atlantic University. In addition, the IPE faculty member will lead efforts towards integrating innovation and research into IPE collaborations. The IPE Faculty will foster best practices and sustain continuous growth in the field of IPE.

Minimum Qualifications:

M.D., PhD, or D.O. from an accredited institution and credentials that merit appointment at the rank of assistant professor or higher required.

Demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and service.

Experience working directly with diverse groups and disciplines.

Demonstrate commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Ability to serve as an advocate for individuals of all ethnicities, genders, ages, and backgrounds.
