Neuroradiology Staff Physician

Department of Radiology

The Neuroradiology Division in the Department of Radiology at the Leonard Miller University of Miami (UM) School of Medicine (UMSOM) invites applications for a full-time Staff Physician, community radiologist. Our Health System is the largest academic center in South Florida, with a rapidly expanding footprint, and the applicant would join 12 Neuroradiologists across multiple facilities, including Jackson Memorial (a primary, and tertiary care County hospital) and UM Hospitals and Clinics. Of note, the UM Health System (UHealth) offers a competitive compensation package for community and faculty radiologists.

The candidate for this position should have completed a fellowship in Neuroradiology. A certificate of added qualification (CAQ) in Neuroradiology is preferred, but not required. Their responsibilities will include providing clinical imaging services to interpret X-rays, CT and MRI. If the candidate has academic interests, they can also participate in teaching residents, fellows, and students, as well as clinical research, journal club, and weekly multidisciplinary conferences, and can later be considered for a faculty position. There are also opportunities to serve on Departmental and School wide committees. UMSOM also provides meeting and vacation time and an excellent fringe benefits and tuition reimbursement package. Candidates with a strong academic and/or research background may be considered for an Assistant/Associate Professor position.
