Job Description:

The University of Florida College of Nursing is seeking applicants holding a MSN or doctoral degree (DNP, Ed.D. or PhD) in nursing with a background in community health, psychiatric mental health, and/or family health nursing This position is focused on teaching didactic and clinical courses in the BSN program. This is a full-time, twelve-month, 1.0 FTE non-tenure track faculty position. Additional essential responsibilities include maintaining clinical expertise including credentials appropriate to specialty and teaching responsibilities, participating in clinical scholarship, participating in faculty meetings, serving on faculty committees and providing service to the university, community and profession of nursing.

This position is located in Gainesville, FL. This is not a remote or online faculty position.

Commensurate with education and experience

Minimum Requirements:

Clinical Lecturer: MSN in Nursing and recent clinical experience.

Clinical Assistant Professor: DNP or PhD in nursing and recent clinical experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Teaching experience and professional involvement in nursing organizations.
