The College of Nursing has an opening for a full-time University Staff (unclassified) Undergraduate Program Manager position.

Position Emphasis:

The College of Nursing is seeking a full-time (1.00 FTE) Undergraduate Program Manager, focusing on undergraduate programs.  This position is under the oversight of the Sr. Assistant Dean of Academic Operations and the Associate Dean of Academic Programs.  They will support the College of Nursing Undergraduate programs with operational management of multiple program plans and pathways.  This individual will work closely with the Assistant Dean of Undergraduate programs and will manage all undergraduate course programming and scheduling within the College of Nursing.  This includes multiple program plans and pathways which will require this individual to make connections and serve as liaison between undergraduate faculty, all undergraduate committees, the Sr. Assistant Dean of Academic Operations, Sr. Director of Experiential Learning, the Assistant Dean of Undergraduate Programs as well as the Associate Dean of Academic Programs.  This individual is responsible for all day-to-day operations of undergraduate programs, including the development and implementation of processes consistent with the Office of Academic Programs’ strategies and processes. Additionally, this individual will manage and guide all undergraduate program projects such as curriculum revisions, keeping all primary constituents informed and abreast of the status of projects ensuring consistent communication during each project step.  This includes following up on deadlines, adjusting timelines as necessary and all other details needed for successful program and completion of complex undergraduate programs. This individual will coordinate with the College of Nursing Clinical Placements Office regarding undergraduate program plans and course scheduling.  Additionally, this individual will also be responsible for managing data within undergraduate programs as well as supplying necessary data needed for accreditation and evaluation. This individual will be responsible for general student facing communication. This role will have purposeful intersection with the UG Placement Manager for strong collaboration in operations of the UG program.

 The successful candidate will use independent, critical thinking to suggest and guide process improvements.  They will possess a collaborative, team-oriented, working style as well as an ability to network, build relationships and collaborate with diverse constituencies, such as students, faculty, administrators, internal departments and campus offices related to program management.  They will proactively identify problems and offer potential solutions to the leadership within the College of Nursing, Office of Academic Programs.

Minimum Qualifications: 

    A bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, business, public administration, health care, educational technology, social science, liberal arts, communications, accounting, finance, library science, or a directly related field from an accredited institution. Substitution: A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree on a year for year basis.
The position requires at least four (4) years of extensive, diverse and progressively responsible experience at the management level.Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

    Experience working in academic programs or programming.
Competencies:

    Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution.Outstanding customer service skills.Demonstrated commitment and leadership ability to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion.Knowledge of University of Colorado and College of Nursing policies and procedures.
Salary and Benefits:

The salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established at $58,442 to $74,338.  

The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

This position is not eligible for overtime compensation.
