The Division of Hematology has an opening for a full-time Assistant Professor position.

Position Description:
The Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is seeking to recruit a staff physician within the Division’s Hematologic Malignancies program. This position will report to the Division Clinical Director, Clay Smith, MD for clinical responsibilities and to the Division Chief, Craig Jordan, PhD for research duties. They will provide in-patient attending service for the Hematologic Malignancies service for 4 weeks of inpatient service per year. They will have an appointment with the VA. They will also be expected to participate in regularly scheduled meetings of the Bone Marrow Transplant Program including the pipeline conference, Hematologic Malignancies Tumor Board, Division Grand Rounds, and monthly conferences held with The Children’s Hospital.

Salary and Benefits:
The salary range (or hiring range) has been established at $18,000 to $24,000 at a 0.28 FTE position.   

The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

This position is not eligible for overtime compensation.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
•    M.D. Degree
•    Eligible for Colorado state medical license
•    Experience in treatment of hematologic disorders

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:
•    Experience in hematologic disorders particularly related to cancer
