Assistant Athletic Trainer - TUCBHCenter for Sport

Location: New Orleans, LA

Summary

The Assistant Athletic Trainer will be clinic based and outreach focused as part of the Tulane University Center for Brain Health (TUCBH). The Assistant Athletic Trainer will assist in maximizing the health and wellness of military veterans through the provision of facilitated access to high quality comprehensive evaluation and treatment plans.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification (NATABOC) at the time of hire
  • Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners (LSBME)Certification required within 90-days of employment and maintained thereafter

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree
  • Prior experience working with military veterans afflicted with orthopaedic and/or psychological issues
  • Military experience
  • Work history in a medical setting
