Description:

The Section of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Tulane University School of Medicine is recruiting a faculty position in advanced therapeutic endoscopy at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor or Professor to develop our advanced therapeutic endoscopy program in pursuit of our goal to providing a wide array of exceptional clinical programs and to enhance our clinical research endeavors. The successful candidate will provide evaluation and treatment for hepatobiliary and pancreatic conditions. Required competency in EMR, EUS, and ERCP are essential. Additionally, clinical responsibilities include inpatient consults and outpatient clinics at Tulane Medical Center, University Medical Center – New Orleans, and the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System (SLVHCS) (all three hospital sites are located within minutes of one another). This position will be responsible for the instruction and teaching of gastroenterology fellows.


Qualifications:
  • M.D./D.O who has successfully completed a gastroenterology fellowship program and an advanced therapeutic endoscopy subspecialty fellowship 
  • Gastroenterology Board Eligible or Board Certifie
