The University of North Dakota Center for Family Medicine in Bismarck, ND is recruiting for a clinic nurse. The role of the nurse is to deliver quality care to the entire family, while coordinating with all nursing staff in quality assurance, education and direct patient care. The nurse will work with resident physicians, directors, office and administrative staff to provide quality care to patients, to keep patient flow efficient and maintain an optimum learning environment for resident physicians and other students involved in the clinic. The nurse will assist in maintaining patient charts to ensure accuracy.Position Benefits

- Assist in care of patients
- Direct patients to exam room in a polite and timely manner
- Take a brief history, vital signs, medication and allergies, recording information into system
- Schedule various procedures and or appointments with other physicians
- Report and track laboratory test results, and other diagnostic testing
- Exhibits and promotes excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and attitude
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work closely with faculty and resident physicians
- Ability to work with patients and the public in a professional, confidential, and calm fashion
- Strong attention to detail, as well as proper oral/written communication skills
- Associates degree in nursing
- Registered Nurse in the state of North Dakota
- Successful completion of criminal history records check.

Minimum Hiring Salary/Position Classification
- Three years' experience in a clinical setting
- Epic electronic health records system experience
$24.50+/hour, dependent on experience, Non-Exempt, Full-Time, BenefitedWork Schedule
