Duties & Responsibilities- Flight InstructionConduct ground, FTD, and flight instruction (minimum of 1040 hours of contact time annually).Follow prescribed curriculum.Maintain student records, logbooks, and endorsements.Monitor and evaluate student progress.Maintain superior training standards.Conduct stage checks.Follow all standard operating procedures and policies and procedures.Attend safety meetings.Other duties as assigned.
- Motivated, Self-starter with the ability to perform without direct supervision.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to make sound decisions concerning training problems.
- Excellent working knowledge of UND training course outlines and computer systems.
- Excellent working knowledge of FARS and Part 141 Pilot School Operations.
- Thorough knowledge of UND records systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Aviation or related field.2 years of UND Flight Instructor Coop experience.1000 hours of Dual given or equivalent instructional experienceSuccessful completion of criminal history records check.
