The Division of Neonatology at the University of Maryland is seeking to fill an Assistant/Associate Professor faculty position.



    Level IV- 52 Single-family-room Neonatal Intensive Care Unit State-of-the-Art, LEED certified green NICU An accredited Neonatal-Perinatal fellowship Program  24/7 in house Advanced Practice Providers PICU providing ECMO and post-cardiac surgery care    The largest NICU High-risk Follow Up Program in the state of Maryland Center for Advanced Fetal Care (CAFC) for medically complex fetus and mother.  The Maryland Regional Neonatal Transport Program (MRNTP) services that provides referral from more than 30 hospitals in the region. Member of Vermont-Oxford Network. The Division of Neonatology is a rapidly growing academically oriented division.  We are currently seeking an assistant/associate faculty position for our level IV NICU in University of Maryland Medical Center.  In addition to the main campus level IV NICU, coverage includes two level III regional NICUs with 15-26 beds. The Division also provides oversight and receive transports from multiple level I and level II NICUs affiliated with the UM Medical System.

The candidate will have a faculty appointment in the Department of Pediatrics of the University of Maryland School of Medicine at the academic level commensurate with experience.  An essential component of the position will be the education of our departmental residents and NICU fellows. The successful candidate should be BC/BE, with excellent teaching and clinical skills. In addition to clinical duties, neonatologists have an opportunity to participate in clinical and translational research and quality improvement projects.
