Reports To:     AVP of Enrollment Management

Status:              Full time, Exempt

 

The Enrollment Management Analyst/SLATE CRM Manager plays a strategic role in serving as the liaison between the Admissions Team and other offices such as Institutional Research, Registrar, and Institutional Technology (IT).   

This position is dedicated to optimizing enrollment strategies and tactics through analysis of quantitative and qualitative data to aid in making evidence-based decisions. The position will assist our leadership with meeting annual goals for student enrollment. This position will also serve as the primary leader of the Technoloutions Slate team.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maximize the efficient use of Slate and Slate data to support recruitment, admissions, and enrollment of students.
  • Recommend and implement changes to database elements to assure proper hygiene and compliance with database standards. Assist with database imports and exports, and reconcile data on a routine basis to assure data integrity.
  • Develop, deliver, and maintain template libraries, standard queries, and on demand or custom reports within Slate.
  • Conduct ongoing analysis and share findings with the marketing and admissions teams to assess conversion rates of prospects and applicants and efficacy of digital pipelines.
  • Manage Slate configuration, including understanding needs of stakeholders, which includes the digital team, and develop requirements for configuration of Slate implementation.
  • Analyze and resolve CRM program issues in a timely and accurate fashion in coordination with the Marketing, Admissions, Financial Aid and Outreach teams
  • Requires strong interpersonal communication skills to lead or assist in coordinating on projects with Marketing, Outreach and Admissions teams.
  • Create data visualizations to illustrate patterns and trends with various college data and compare results across enrollment campaigns
  • Create models using statistical techniques for projecting enrollment funnel characteristics such as quantity, quality, and yield for different inquiry or application groups. 
  • Development and maintenance of data and analytics within the Technolutions Slate CRM instance
  • Proactively reviews and audits CRM data and continuously act to correct data irregularities and errors to maintain a high level of data integrity.
  • Collaborates with the Assistant Director of Operations regarding CRM administration and quality control.
  • Presents and trains the admissions teams to read, analyze and digest reports and analysis.
  • Work as part of a team to develop an analysis and reporting plan for recruitment and admissions activities, financial aid and enrollment forecasts, and enrollment analysis.
  • Work directly with Institutional Research, Financial Aid and IT to implement and manage efficient and accurate data exchange from SLATE to Jenzabar and PowerFaids.
  • Collaborates with third party vendors such as the Common Application and NRCCUA to ensure that all College data is accurately updated in a timely fashion. 
  • Participate in Admissions events as needed with some weekend and evening work required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred
  • 4-6 years in admissions or experience in similar settings. 
  • Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills. 
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks. 
  • Slate CRM experience and technical expertise in data management, including student information systems. 
  • Proficient in data visualization, capable of designing interactive reports and possess advanced query writing skills. 
  • Advanced capabilities with Microsoft Word and Excel. 
  • Demonstrated experience working in highly collaborative and culturally diverse environments; ability to develop effective relationships with Departments, Divisions, and with other areas of the College to meet the demands of the position. 
  • Demonstrated presentation and facilitation skills and the ability to work in a team atmosphere.

Enrollment/Student Body Profile. Our student body is made up of 2,700+ students representing over 16 states and several countries. 1,800 are traditional undergraduate students.

Academic Programs. The Mount offers 50 undergraduate programs leading to a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree. Our collaboration programs offer you a chance to earn a bachelor's degree, plus an advanced degree with schools like Fordham University, Pace University, and New York Medical College. The college also offers master's degrees in education, business, and nursing.

Faculty. Students learn from our faculty, the majority of whom hold a Ph.D. or the highest terminal degree in their field. Our Student/Faculty Ratio is 17 students:1 faculty member.
