Position Description:
Under the general and direct supervision of the Project Director/PI, the Program Manager will be responsible for the management, coordination, and implementation of a federal grant to advance the development of the CARE PD (Community Access Reach & Education in Pediatric Dentistry) program. The Program Manager will independently provide high-level administrative support to the Project Director.

The Program Manager needs to recommend, implement, and monitor metrics for quantifying operational and clinical initiatives. The Program Manager, with support from a project coordinator and others as assigned, will implement goals of the grant, promote the strategic vision of the training programs and coordinate academic, clinical, and community resources to prepare pediatric dentists to provide leadership and better meet the oral health needs of children and families in underserved communities. We hope to achieve this by developing and instituting innovative programs that incorporate up to date promising practices and collaborating with other primary care providers to develop a comprehensive and continuous systems of care for children.

In 15 of the 16 medical specialty areas examined, UCLA Medical Center ranked in the top 20.
