Description:

Reporting to the Assistant Dean, the Administrative Coordinator will support the undergraduate and graduate nursing programs in the Hofstra Northwell School of Nursing and Physician Assistant Studies.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Supports daily operations of the School of Nursing to ensure a professional learning environment that promotes service excellence.
• Collaborates with Course Coordinators, faculty, leadership, and students to schedule and confirm course dates and activities.
• Maintains academic and event calendars and reports activities to school leadership.
• Compiles and analyzes basic information for inclusion in reports and presentation materials, including preparing charts, graphs, and tables, as necessary.
• Schedules and coordinates various meetings, site tours, retreats, etc.
• Provides backup support to administrative team members, as needed.
• Assists Course Coordinators and faculty with administrative duties.
• Manages multiple tasks, exercises judgement, handles time-sensitive matters that require concise problem-solving and a high degree of confidentiality.
• Performs related duties, as assigned.

This is an on-site position; work for this role will be performed on-campus.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
• Outstanding computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Two years related administrative experience.
• Proficiency in Blackboard.
