Under direct supervision, incumbent performs duties ranging from unskilled to skilled and/or specialized, in a variety of position that typically require the use of manual, clerical, public contact and/or analytical skills. Assignments have limited use of discretion and judgment; work is regularly reviewed and may entail detailed instructions. Specific job duties are defined by the project or agency and can range from clerical, administrative, technical and research assignments.


Responsibilities
  • Student and employer communications – in person, phone, and email
  • Provide information and referrals in response to student inquiries
  • Assist students with learning about and utilizing CMC resources, scheduling appointments with advisors, registering for/participating in CMC events and programs.
  • Assist with creating promotional content for social media
  • Provide program support; data collection efforts at events and career fairs
  • Provide office support; data entry and organization, designing fliers, creating forms, etc.
  • Promote CMC events, activities and resources
  • Assist with initiation of Internship Site Questionnaires and Service Learning Agreements to establish site eligibility for internship courses for academic credit.
  • Researches and identifies new potential employers and internship opportunities and updates information on learning management system (Canvas) for students enrolled in MGT 401
  • Perform other projects and duties as assigned
